Description

The Supercircular coffee table features Arne Jacobsen’s stylish 4-star pedestal base to create a visually balanced yet understated design that harmonises beautifully with a wide range of lounge environments.

About the design

Super-Circular™ A203 is part of a table series that consists of several sizes. The inspiration for the table series came from designers Piet Hein's solution to a traffic problem at Sergels Torg in Stockholm: A super elliptical roundabout. The idea for the ingenious shape came about thanks to his mathematical thinking. This variation on an oval shape had some attractive qualities and looked surprisingly harmonious regardless of size.

The table tops consist of 22 mm laminated chipboard.

The tables are of the highest class quality, which is why Fritz Hansen has also found the same quality when choosing Fenix ​​laminate, whose surface is particularly resistant to scratches. The Fenix ​​laminate reflects light minimally, leaving a beautiful, matte surface that is easy to clean and does not show fingerprints.

The table's matte surface brings life to the table through the many different colours.
