The Dapper Chair by HAY, designed by Doshi Levien, is an elegant and comfortable chair originally created for university environments, ideal for reading and computer work.

About the design

This chair is characterized by its two large wooden components that provide excellent seating comfort and an embracing look. It features a padded seat and a powder-coated steel frame, allowing for experimentation with materials, structures, and colors to create the perfect furniture piece for your space. The Dapper Chair is available in a wide range of textile types, colors, and materials. The frame is made of powder-coated steel, and the seat is formed from oak veneer, upholstered in the desired textile. The chair is FSC Certified and was originally designed by Doshi Levien for HAY in 2016.
