Product information

Tolix's Tabouret H is a convenient and durable steel stool for many kinds of uses and interiors. Designed by Xavier Pauchard, the bar stool has references to industrial aesthetics. An icon of industrial esthetics, TOLIX®'s Tabouret H has traversed periods and styles and become a classic itself, etched in the collective memory as illustrating the French art of living. The H Stool can be stacked and is available in eight heights for different uses, and in a perforated steel version. Add a TOLIX® cushion for even greater comfort.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Story

TOLIX® products are entirely MADE IN FRANCE and have remained true to the company’s Burgundian values and origins. All TOLIX® products are designed, formed, stamped, welded and hand-assembled at the factory in Autun.

The classic metal furniture by Tolix has entered the collections of numerous design museums. The trademark Tolix was registered already in 1927, and soon the different models found their place in factories, offices and hospitals, as well as outside, on café terraces and in public parks. At the end of the 50's, Tolix produced over 60 000 units annually. After that, the Tolix furniture has become increasingly popular as a part of domestic interior design. Every piece is still made in France.
